Privacy Policy
This policy explains how VerseAmp handles information when you create an account and use its songwriting tools.
Information we process
We process account information supplied through email login or Google sign-in, including your email address, display name, authentication identifiers, and basic provider profile information. We store songs, lyrics, musical settings, instrument translations, project timestamps, credit balances, and usage records that you choose to create.
AI processing
When you use a Studio Assistant feature, the relevant song fields and instructions are sent securely from our server to Google Gemini. Do not enter confidential, regulated, or personally sensitive information into song prompts.
Service providers
Supabase provides authentication and database storage. Google provides optional sign-in and Gemini generation. Our hosting provider may process technical request information required to operate and secure the service.
Local browser storage
VerseAmp stores an account-specific recovery draft, interface preferences, custom tags, favorites, and presets in your browser. Clearing browser data removes these local items but does not delete projects saved to your account.
Security and retention
We use access controls, encrypted connections, server-only credentials, usage limits, and account-scoped database policies. Account and project data are retained while needed to provide the service or until deletion is requested, subject to legitimate security and legal retention requirements.
Your choices
You may edit or delete saved projects through VerseAmp, sign out at any time, or delete your account from Account Settings.
Children
VerseAmp is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material revisions will be reflected by the updated date shown above.
